Shallow Water Skimmers, also called “manta ray skimmers” or “delta skimmers”, manufactured by Markleen, are simple, hand-operated pieces of equipment for the removal of oil from the surface of shallow water or water with difficult access.

Features
Shallow Water Skimmers can work in a minimum depth of water of of just 7cm and are ideal for use on beaches, in rivers and in other inland waters.
By floating horizontally on the surface, they eliminate the layer of oil, of whatever thickness, with a maximum collection capacity of around 30 m3/h.
The skimmers are designed to be used manually and usually work in combination with a diaphragm pump located on land, with 2” hoses.
