As an alternative to mechanical recovery, and local legislation permitting, Markleen can supply a complete dispersant system for on-water spraying.
A typical system is made up of a diesel engine pump (or optionally an electric pump) with intakes for sea water and dispersant concentrate and two spray arms which are positioned one on each side of the vessel for spraying the spill while advancing.
The spray arms can be conveniently stored down the side of the vessel when not in use
