Specifications
The booms are equipped with flexible closed-cell foam floats, which give the boom excellent wave-following characteristics. Their particularly robust construction guarantees a long service life in adverse conditions.

Features
The booms are made from a top quality coated fabric which is subsequently high-frequency welded, making them robust and highly resistant to oil, chemicals and adverse weather conditions. The booms’ bright yellow fabric combined with large reflective strips placed vertically on the floats make them easy to see in the dark. Folding points are marked in black every 2 m.
Each 25-metre section has drain valves at both ends. Water that may enter a damaged boom will drain automatically when the boom is lifted out of the sea, without the need for opening valves or removing covers. Each section is also equipped with Dynamic Response flexible end connectors, anchor points, handles and a pocket for beacons.
The ECOSOLID boom is designed to be packed in the NOFI BoomBag system, but can also be stored on pallets, in crates, hung from ceiling mounted rails in containers and wound on most reels.
